In this session we’ll discuss how leading enterprises are securing their streaming data. Specifically, we will detail how data in motion is secure within Apache Kafka and the broader Confluent Platform, while data at rest can be secured by solutions like Vormetric Data Security Manager.
You will learn the basics of Kafka ACL authentication and security, as well as policy-driven encryption practices for data-at-rest. We will also lay out the necessary steps to configure your streaming platform securely.
